Physical hardware is required for all testing. We cannot perform analysis based on digital files alone.
The Piper test chamber accommodates devices up to 16 inches in diameter and 16 inches in height, with a maximum verified weight of 5.6 lbs.
Turnaround time varies based on the frequency and antenna configuration.
The Piper analysis is similar to FCC Part 15C for intentional radiators. Piper tests are usually performed with a 1 mW signal injected into the device antenna. This tests the radiation capabilities of the antenna and not the amplifier system of the product. In contrast the FCC test would test the product’s combined RF transmit chain with the antenna.
